An Idiot Abroad Print Reasearch

Karl Pilkington An Idiot Abroad in Egypt Poster

An Idiot Abroad print

A poster showing the channel it is on and who the main character and what it is about. It also has a website so the audience can find out more information. The title tells the audience that the man on the poster is an idiot. The character has a stupid look on his face and is dressed casually. It reinforces the audience’s perception of the person on the poster as an idiot. That also means that there will be comedy in the TV show. It shows him abroad in Egypt in front of the pyramids not looking very happy being in a place where many people go to enjoy a holiday. It makes it look like he is out of his comfort zone. The audience will find that funny because it looks like he does not enjoy travelling abroad and will struggle with it.

It is a simple design so it is easy to look at and understand. Our poster will also be simple so the audience do not get too confused about what is going on.

Ross Nobles Freewheeling Trailer

Ross Noble will be hosting his own show on Dave titled Freewheeling. The show is described as an anti travelogue around Britain. The main character will be doing challenges along the way to keep the audience interested. The challenges will have comedy in them to make the audience laugh. The programme will show how the character is not very intelligent and that he fails to the amusement of the audience.

Top Gear

Top Gear is a British television show about motor vehicles, primarily cars, and is the world's most widely watched factual television programme. It began in 1977 as a conventional motoring magazine show. The show is currently presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, and has featured at least three different test drivers known as The Stig. The programme is broadcast on BBC Two. It has a mostly male audience.
